The entire football media have focused all their efforts on covering the fallout from the Man City - Arsenal game, in general, and Mr. Adebayor in particular. It seems that UEFA have been offended finding themselves in the shadow of the Togolese, and decided to come up with something more ridiculous then Adebayor's post-match interview. Days after they banned Arsenal/Croatian striker Eduardo, they've lifted the ban, to entertain the public and confuse the referees even further. From a very simple case where the player clearly dived and the referee fell for it (something which happens every weekend in every league, unfortunately) UEFA made a spectacle of their own rules. Now its unclear whether the referees should card divers, what's considered a dive (depending on what team a particular player is on) whether results can be annulled post-factum, etc. If UEFA would have to handle the Adebayor case, we would probably see that goon disqualified...till City's next game against Arsenal, that is.
